Chad Bowser is a freelance game designer living in Kernersville, NC. He has done work for companies including AEG, Chaosium, Heresy Games, and Cubicle 7. He prefers writing horror, espionage, and steampunk, particularly when the genres converge.

Chad started gaming in middle school and wrote his first scenario, an adventure for Pendragon, for his high school English class. His teacher might not have been sure how to grade it, but writing that scenario ignited in Chad a desire to write the games that people play. He took time off from game writing to earn a bachelor's degree in Classical Archaelogy and a master's in Medieval History, but never stopped gaming.

Chad's first publication was a Call of Cthulhu scenario for the magazine Demonground. His latest work is Cthulhu Invictus, which he co-wrote with his wife, Andi Newton.

Chad is always looking for new companies and game lines to work on. He can be found on Twitter as @cjbowser, or you can email him at chad@chadbowser.com.
